No experience is necessary. Our beginner classes are designed specifically for women with no martial arts background. You’ll learn the fundamentals of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in a welcoming and supportive environment.
You’ll need a Gi, the traditional uniform for grappling. Many women also wear a rash guard under the Gi to prevent mat burns and maintain hygiene. While optional, a mouthguard is recommended for added protection during training. But don’t worry, we provide everything you need including a gi for your first class!
